Health Programs : We actively promote the physical and emotional well-being of seniors through health screenings, professional counseling, fitness classes and other programs.
Transportation: M-F, late afternoon. Staff and volunteers help seniors with their transportation needs, driving more than 14,000 miles in 2003, an increase of 15 percent from 2002.
Homemaker Services: By appointment. Helping people take care of themselves in their own homes, we provided more than 4,000 hours of service in 2003, a 16 percent increase from the previous year.
Meals: M & W. Noon meals are served twice a week, providing more than 1,000 hot meals at the Center each year
Volunteer Opportunities: We provide volunteer opportunities for nearly 100 individuals at the Center and refer members to other local organizations that request volunteers.
Information and Referral: Daily, we assist individual visitors and callers with their questions and concerns, including insurance support programs and computer instruction.
Social Programs: Group activities and special events such as potlucks, card games, crafts and quilting groups reduce the isolation and loneliness of seniors—and are great fun.
